Best of the 3
The skate series keeps getting better if you ask me, and the online bits here are amazing - get a crew together and prepare to be addicted. Really great game this, easily the best of the 3 games

A Worthy Update
In many ways, this is the game that Skate 2 really should have been. The first sequel felt different to the original, but not necessarily better. There were a few minor additions, but there were also some issues - such as terrible drops in frame rates - that weren't present in the first game. Skate 3 is set in a brand new location, Port Carverton, where the sun always shines and skaters can roam free without worry of intervention from security guards, as in Skate 2. The Create-a-Skater feature is much improved, and gives many more options than before. Brand new to the series is the Create-a-Skatepark feature, which it has to be said feels much like the skate park editor the Tony Hawk series implemented years ago. Still, a worthy addition. The online mode is much improved and includes the now obligatory co-op mode. The frame rate issues that affected Skate 2 so badly have been fixed, although there seems to be noticeably more pop-ups than before. In summary, Skate 3 feels bigger and better than its predecessors, which is exactly what a sequel should be.
