Sam Fisher. Off the grid. Outside of the system. Looking for the truth.
For years, Sam Fisher has been off the grid and on his own, tracking his daughter's killer. The trail leads to the last place Sam wants to see again: Washington D.C. Now Sam must work with old friends he can no longer trust, forced to save a country that used him and threw him away. Unless he can stand against both a vast, faceless enemy and a corrupt Third Echelon, he'll never know the truth of what happened to his daughter.
Become an enemy of the state, embroiled in a conspiracy that leads all of the way back to Capitol Hill, in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Splinter Cell is one of if not the greatest series of games for me. I love stealth. The story could have been longer - I personally wanted more, but that's the only "negative" thing for me. Playing this game is pure fun - especially in co-op mode. One player can distract enemies while another - hitting them with his/her weapons. Co-op makes this game almost immortal - until the next part will be released. Highly recommended - especially at this price.

Having never played a Splinter Cell game prior to playing this, I had no idea what I would be letting myself in for. It turns out that I had chosen to buy and play one of the finest action/stealth games on the Xbox 360. The learning curve from the introductory level, through to your White House showdown is spot on. The game guides you without ever holding your hand. The P.E.C challenges will have you replaying levels without boredom kicking in, and the co-op story mode, although short is a great addition to the game. In short, this is one of my favourite games of the past 12 months....and at the current Zavvi price, an absolute steal.

Excellent Game!
Probably the best Splinter Cell made to date. This game has a totally revamped Splinter Cell experience and has one of the best cover systems in a game. And at Zaavi, it's such a cheap price! I bought two so that my friend and I can play co-op. Don't miss out on this bargain!

Splinter Cell Conviction Review
We all think of Splinter Cell as the stealth action game where you go after the bad guys, and the new instalment is... no different. After seeing the trailers and screenshots, I thought this would change the whole Splinter Cell series. But, after about two hours playing the game, I realised that I was pretty much doing the same thing as all the previous titles. Sure, Sam is meaner and his general attitude is more aggressive, but it doesn't really feel like it when you are actually playing the game, it's pretty much impossible to go through it shooting the whole place up, (especially on realistic difficulty) and even if you are that kind of player, it defeats the whole idea of what Splinter Cell really is, a stealth game. It's not all bad news though, the visuals are improved, and the gameplay is very solid. The way the game is presented to the player is very well integrated into the game as well, mission objectives are projected onto walls and objects within the game, and the cutscene to game transition is very seamless as well. Overall, probably not the best in the series, but Ubisoft have, yet again, made a good, solid game.

What a game
Having been a fan of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell game's it was great to see this come out. This time round they have added more action to it but it's not all running blowing and shooting stuff up you still have that Stealth side to the game. The action it self you will have think what to do 1st and then strike. You will have to trick the AI of the game to get to your goal. I had no issues with the gameplay or the looks but i just wish it was little bit longer. Stealth and action got it right

Convicted!
A new Fisher incarnation, just the same Fisher as always free from the "political" chains looking for the truth about his daugther. Fully recomended, great in game videos and a good background to play.

The best one
For my money, this is the best of the Splinter Cell games. It is more action orientated, but you still can't just run in with all guns blazing - you have to use your noggin. The level set in the first Iraq war is a stroke of genius. Co-op is really cool too. I think it's better than Chaos Theory (aka Splinter Cell 3) which I thought couldn't be topped.
