Yoostar2 brings the magic and fun of Hollywood to your living room. Using your Kinect for Xbox 360 you can insert yourself into famous movie and TV scenes, starring alongside or in place of your favourite actors. Perform the lines as written, or improvise and deliver your own improvisation. After you’ve finished, Yoostar scores your performance, and you can upload your scene to Yoostar2’s in-game social portal, Yoostar.com and Facebook. If you would like to be a film star, then it's your game. If not, you should avoid it. Had some technical difficulties with the speech recognition.
Yoostar 2 puts you in the scene of your favourite Hollywood movies, classics include Terminator (many hours were spent impersonating arnie), 300, American Pie, Wizard of Oz, and many many more. What's fun about this game is allows you and your friends to play your favourite roles reciting the moments you love and sharing them with other budding actors. However the game has its flaws, the Kinect video quality is negotiable, it looks fairly obvious that your not in the scene, however what did you expect really? The scenes vary from good, to pretty terrible, Plus the lines you get aren't always the films most iconic scenes, but if your a budding Johnny Depp, or the next Angelina Jolie then this game should fill your needs!
This is the ultimate kinect party game. If you and your friends have ever wanted to be Movie stars then this is the game for you. By acting out your favourite scenes you can live this dream. The game gives great feedback by judging the timing and delivery of your lines. This game provides hours of fun for all ages, and with the ability to upload your scenes to the internet you can relive your best moments time and time again. A must buy.
I've had this game well over a week now. This game is quite brilliant, depending on set up lighting. When i first set it all up to Kinect, the image on screen was showing jaggy edges and picking up background. I later tried out placing a lamp in front of me to get better light which was alot better. The next I day played in the daytime using natural light which works best. The scenes are great and can be played out as a game or just picked to play in quick play mode. Theres plenty of downloadable content on xbox live if extra scenes needed. The Backgrounds and clips are also included to make your own funny videos. Where the game comes alive is when you upload your clips to twitter and facebook for others to view rate and give you awards for performances. If you love films this is a must but please be patient with lighting and controls as they can be a let down at times but other than that Yoostar 2 is great for parties and film fans to be creative.
