Falconry has been practised over centuries and the knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation. This half day experience gives you the chance to have an insight into the knowledge and close interaction with these glorious birds or prey, then you'll learn how to fly them to fist. Not trained to do tricks, the birds just follow their instincts. All of the birds will show off their instincts to soar, quarter, pounce and mantle.
The day will begin with an insightful tour of the centre where you can see the range of birds of prey up close and discover the different characteristics, acceleration and hunting skills. Then you'll get the chance to fly some of the fist with guidance from the trainer, with lots of chances to take photos and have a memorable experience. You'll be provided with all the equipment you need and your recommended to take a pair of wellington boots along with suitable clothing. This unforgettable experience will last for around 2-3 hours.
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. The number of other participants on the day will vary depending on the venue.
