My experience from previous purchase was a good one
great service well informed done exactly whet they said they would do well done the team
Not going to say much about this, other than its a beautiful piece of tech, ..can't wait for games really use this or PSN to add more material.. love it tho!!
Product looks great and feels great. The features are excellent and entertaining for both myself and 4yr old son. Simple to use Plug and play, no messing about. A must have for all PS4 enthusiasts.
Great price, nice and compact design and is great to use with the Playrooms
Works very well. Will be great when some games for this become available.
The camera has good functionality and works great but it lacks the software to properly utilize the camera. There is only the built in software called "The Playroom" which can be used with the camera. The voice commands work great but are quite limited at the moment, hopefully Sony will add further functionality to voice commands in a future update.
Although not a necessity with the new console the ps4 Camera does add a few cool features such as voice control and obviously the play room. These features are limited at the moment however the camera gives the sense that over time it will easily be upgraded to New features and new ways of playing games. Also another aspect that the camera gives is with the broadcasting feature on the PlayStation where you can broadcast to Facebook your face along side your gameplay so people can watch you score that amazing goal or get that perfect headshot.
Even though i recieved my item late, i was overjoyed with the communication from zavvi, they sent me numerous emails keeping me up to date on what was going on with my order. I was even surprised to find a large malteser chocolate bar in the box too on delivery...mm.so zavvi thanks. The camera itself is brilliant, i no longer have to use my headset as the camera's built in microphone is brilliant. The picture quality is good too and even manages to pick my face up when the room is in near darkness. Its small too, i expected it to be much bigger however it is but half the length of the console itself. Comes with addesive pads to wall mount it if you wish. Finally possessing the camera allows you to acsess the playroom which is alsoluty brilliant, i wont go into what the playroom is, im simply going to end by saying, seriously get the camera and discover the playroom for yourself.
A typically high quality product from Sony but doesn't really add much to the PS4 experience, and in some cases makes it much worse! Firstly the good; the visual recognition login for multiple users is very neat if a little gimmicky, but the optics seem very good, even in darkened room with projector its still able to get more than adequate quality images and the tracking seems very good indeed. The voice commands are useful but a little clunky, for example to put the console to standby you have to go through "PlayStation", "HomeScreen", "Power", "Enter Standby Mode". It doesn't seem to take abbreviations so you can just say "Standby" after power; you have to read the full menu text! Also the commands at least for now are fairly limited The main bad point however, is that in games such as Need For Speed, because the camera has a built in mic, it will automatically activate, with no obvious option to mute it - therefore other people in the room can hear sounds from your speakers and the room whether you want to or not. The solution seems to be to plug the headset into the controller, which then automatically mutes the camera's microphone. All in all, an impressive product, but needs some further work and applications to make use of it before it will be truly useful.
