Fabulous film with an equally fabulous steel pack design. Nice special features to boot and a great price from Zavvi. Recommended!

Lovely steelbook, good film
I will split my review into two parts (The film/ The Steelbook) for those interested I either The Film: 500 Days of Summer is a enjoyable, and fairly unique romantic comedy. I am a fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, but I am not particularly ' into' romantic comedies. I tried this film because of both actors and the recommendation from others. It is a unique rom-com compared to the usual, and might interest people who don't usually watch those types of films, as well as being enjoyable for those who love the genre. It's unique in it's style and nonlinear narrative which I found interesting. The film still follows some typical conventions whilst offering this unique style. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays 'that guy' that men are supposed to relate to in the film. Whereas Deschanel plays an awkward, quirky character that we are all attracted to but can often find frustrating. Overall, without spoiling anything, the film is fun. It does follow some typical conventions of rom-coms, but choses to venture down a different path, using different techniques I wouldn't usually associate with the genre. It is an enjoyable and fun film and therefore I would recommend it to anyone looking for something enjoyable, that is easy to watch. The Steelbook: The steelbook is lovely! I really love the artwork and the quality is really good. Only reason for giving it 4 stars is that the steelbook isn't made the same as most are (two sides with the hinge in the middle) it doesn't have a middle support and in my opinion isn't as strong as normal steelbooks. It clicks into place easily, but it isn't as well made as most steelbooks. Saying this, the artwork makes up for that, really nice steelbook and a fantastic price. I was looking to buy the exact same one from another website and it was double the price. So get it whilst you can! - Luke
