Bad Santa

I've been buying up some Christmas movies I've never seen, and I laughed like a drain when I watched this. A truly hilarious film.

Nice upgrade

I just bought Bad Santa in order to upgrade my old dvd-version and I´m pretty happy over what I got. Nice colors, pretty sharp image and better sound quality. Just what I imagined I´d get. Great, classic Christmas Movie! Buy it or be sad..

Bad Santa-stic

After purchasing this on blu ray and not having seen it for years (since it was first released) I'm pleased to say it's still as funny as it was on first viewing. Billy bob plays then anti-hero perfectly, to the point where you really do sympathise with him and in the end want him to be happy. It will sit alongside other classic Xmas movies such as Home Alone, Elf, Santa Clause and my personal favourite National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Once a year I will dust these off and find them all as funny as they were when I first watched them.

Bad Santa

For anyone with a broad sense of humour....This film is completly un pc, and yet with all of the colourful language, of which there is much, plus a certain amount of, let's, say intimate relations with the larger lady especially when not looking at her face, if you get my meaning, is a thread of humanity when it comes to a relationship between Santa, aka Willie T Stokes (Billy Bob Thorton) and a young podgy eight year old misfit boy who thinks he really is Santa. If your attitude towards Xmas is that it is far too commercialised and the religious context has (almost) been lost...or you can't abide this time of year, then you will enjoy this film with gusto. Thorton probably took a chance with this part but plays it to perfection, and the rest of the cast are on the same level. You haveTony Cox as his midget partner in crime, the late Bernie Mac as a mall decetive and Lauren Graham as his (eventual) girlfriend who's into santa hats when active with Willie so to speak. It also stars the late John Ritter as a store manager. So to sum up, not for those who are easily offended but for most others a good film and an excellent comedy...recomended
