Unique and very good!!

Cowboys and Aliens is a very good and unique sci-fi film. You get the best of two worlds, a cowboy world that gets attacked by aliens. The aliens are very violent and have been kidnapping people for experiments, they have extra hands that come out of places that hands shouldn't come out of. And they are here to steal a precious metal. Daniel Craig plays Jake, an outlaw with a loss of memory and a strange weapon shackle on his wrist. I like the way the story uses flash backs to tell Jake's story, like how he got the alien weapon on his wrist. You get lots of extras on the blu ray, like commentary and the making of the film. The sound is excellent dts hd, a good film for action and sci-fi fans.

Cowboys & Aliens Entertainment

Cowboys and Aliens is far fetched, fantastic and funny. Classic genres are mixed, and the outcome is highly entertaining. It has some very tongue in cheek acting, especially Daniel Craig as the lead.

Not bad at all...

John Favreau is always a safe pair of hands as a director and he certainly has fun with Cowboys and Aliens. Two disparate genres dovetail quite effectively. The script is good and the acting talent on show is excellent. Disbelief can be easily suspended for the duration, thanks to the thoroughly enjoyable action and characters. The extras, although applied sparingly, are excellent. The head-to-head "Conversations with..." are light hearted and wide ranging. Overall this is well worth a look.
