Yesterday's tomorrow

This is quite an interesting series encapsulating a single main story arc, with a few branches and avenues along the way but all leading to one concluding event. The characters are brought together to achieve a goal and they all contribute in their own way, some of them negatively, others positively and others work it out as it moves along. There is quite a good group dynamic from the wide range of characters, some of them develop their own agenda or simply fight the group trying to maintain their individuality. The action spans from early Egyptian history to the end point of time and involves alien technology/magic and human technology from various points in time but it does involve characters already seen in the DC [Flash] universe and some new ones who each have their own skill set and back story. The characters fill out and become more rounded through the series and some change in response to the events that happen to the team and also as each other's stories and motives come out. A quite engaging, if preposterously premised, story. The group almost don't need the super baddy but he keeps the whole thing driven along quite nicely, with various henchmen and co-conspiritors keeping the heroic team wrong footed right until the end. I bought the BluRay/UV Digital copy version and with that cloud based digital version entered a whole world of pain, completely alien to my safe and contented Apple universe. That side of things may work better with Windows or Android [one hopes!].
