Only way to see the Director’s Cut
As far as I can tell there’s no other official way to watch the director’s cut in the UK and it opens with an interesting bit of information about its rediscovery 15 years after the film’s release. The movie itself is very cool, a little slow in the middle, but the last half hour is outstanding.

Great price for this disc. It's supposed to contain the international cut as well as the director's cut. I have the US DVD which has the US cut and director's cut. It would be nice to have all three on one disc, but for the price I'm not going to complain.

nice fantasy tale
Legend is a nice fantasy tale, but that is much too superficial and copies of already known in a big way and has a total of slightly cheesy. This is really a pity, because the scenery and especially the masks in the film are very good. With a slightly more profound characterization and originality in the story, what Scott would certainly have been capable as he has already shown before, a really good fantasy tale would have been possible. Thus, the film maintains very good, has some funny places, but never really put the kitsch factor. Good video and audio quality.

Wont say anything about the image and sound quality, but for anyone who's seen this its a trip down memory lane. If you havent seen it, look forward to it., its great.

Lovely.
Memories sprung back to life from this Legend Blu-ray, it has pretty much anything that an adventure movie needs and with better picture quality and sound than before, it's just a treat.

What a Great Film! Forget a drippy Tom Cruise and relish the visual feast in front of you.Simple story? Of course, its a fairy story but with a magnificently malificent performance by Tim Curry and wondrous make-up by Rob (the thing) Bottin, its a winner. Both versions on the Blu ray pop, but I preferred the Directors cut for quality and content.No extras other than the dir. cut but most people wanting this film will have the region 1 special edition dvd, which has many extras so enjoy the good value British edition Blu ray.

Legend is an excellent Blu ray disc. Enjoyed it very much. The graphics were excellent and this made the whole experience one to remember. Would recommend this film.
