Person of interest season 1

A great box set of one of the finest new shows on tv. Its action packed and exciting (what else would you expect from jonathan nolan, who also co-wrote the new batman movies) and the two main stars, Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson, are an unusaul but great pairing on tv. Highly recommended!

Persons of Interest

I've just completed watching Person of Interest - Season 1! It's absolutely brilliant and I can´t wait for season 2!

Program of Interest

A former CIA agent/ Green Beret, John Reese, teams up with mysterious billionaire Harold Finch to prevent violent crimes in New York using advanced surveillance device simple called "the machine". The machine is used to gather information to prevent acts of terrorism. But it also gathers info on crimes which the government considers irrelevant. It is this so called irrelevant information that is used by Reese and Finch to help them in their venture. The first series is a mixture of crime prevention and back story of the machine. Slowly this heads towards to sci-fi territory with the possibility that the machine has gained awareness. There is also the slow burning story of an organised crime syndicate lead by Elias and also corrupt NYPD officers lead by the secretive "HR". A crime series that is smart, well written and that steps away from the current favourite of coroner's offices to go back to regular detective work. It ends with a cliff hanger that leaves you wanting season 2 to turn up quickly.
