Beauty and the beast box set
Within a few seconds of watching my box set I knew exactly why I purchased it. I was back too being a youngster sat there on a Friday night with my mum waiting for Vincent and his next adventure. If any of you out there do remember this show it's a great buy and good value for money as well

Nice bit of Nostalgia
A must for anyone like me who watched first time around and never missed an episode. The opportunity to have full series in single package at a great price. As long as you don't mind that it's not HD or widescreen - a must for any fan like me.

I have bought this for my wife as a Christmas present, this took over a month to get. Zavvi had always kept me informed over the time it took. I know that my wife will love this because she was a great fan of this in the nineties and will be over the moon when she opens this. Very good price better than all the other companies.

Nostaligia fest
I had forgotten how beautful and romantic series Beauty and the Beast. I was watching another classic 80's series and saw this advertised and I kind of remembered it so I decided to buy it. Okay, the characters and the acting is well written and I was a little disappointed that series 3 is only 11 episodes long. I also forgot the last series made me kind of sad as well. This is a classic of the 80's to be watched by those who are in need of a shot of romance.

Beauty and the Beast
You will believe that love has no boundries. nothing like this will ever be seen again. The music is fitting for every scene and the chemistry between Ron perlman's character, Vincent along with Linda Hamilton, Catherine Chandler from the every start, is instantaneous. There is a strong connection to this series and to the 1946 French film la Belle et la bete in that, unlike the book, the "beast" does not transform into society's idea of "beauty" after gaining the love of Catherine. Rather, Vincent's inner beauty is allowed to remain the focus of who he is, and it is Catherine's life which transforms from her relationship to Vincent. This is a series which follows the developing relationship between the characters and the division between New York and the hidden world beneath it. In all, this is a compelling drama for which all the family can enjoy.
