SOUTH WALES & THE BORDERS
Hop aboard the little single-carriage sprinter as we start our bucolic journey at the English border in Shrewsbury, a splendid county town with its imposing castle and innumerable listed buildings, before heading out of town. Stopping off at some of the most picturesque towns in Wales and passing some of its most stunning landscapes before we climb up the Vale of Lampeter to the popular seaside resort of Tenby with its ancient town walls and finally to the end of the line at Pembroke.
