Driver (Ryan Gosling) spends his days on movie sets, not as an actor, but a stunt driver. To be a stunt driver you have to possess a very special set of skills, acquired over a long time. You have to have a live free or die hard attitude and you have to be willing to put your life on the line. Driver has all of these skills. But he also has something that other stuntmen don't, a second life.
By day he is a stunt driver for the stars of Hollywood, by night, he is a getaway driver. Not just any getaway driver, the best there is. But Driver's life soon starts to dramatically spin out of control when a seemingly easy job goes awry and his life is put in great danger.

Brilliant! I've been wanting to watch this since it came out! Ryan Gosling is gorgeous and a fantastic actor. Brilliant story line. Decent price too. Definitely worth the purchase!

Drive provides a thrilling bit of cinema with a great turn by Albert Brooks as the baddie. However, I was irked by the super cool pick-chewing performance of Ryan Gosling.
