Miission Impossible Complete Original TV Series
This review is requested quite early and it is not stated what type I of review is sought. As I have not had a chance to watch the DVDs yet my review is of the shipped product to me. First of all the shipping was to Ireland and I have to say it was well packaged so that it arrived in perfect condition. None of the corners damaged that you sometimes see on items shipped overseas. The boxed set is as shown in the advertised picture. A quite large box descrbed as containing "all 7 seasons and explosive special features included in this 47 disc collector's edition with each episode digitally remastered". The running time is a massive 8265 muns approx. Strangely, although described as the "complete original TV series", underneath in small print it states that "some episodes may be edited from their original network versions. You can see some work has gone into the production of the box as the artwork on it presents the set as a box of lit fuses and the flip lid adds to the creative design. Inside each of the 7 seasons is contained in machbox-style sleeves boxes. The discs come nicely packaged in a folder which slides in/out of these matchbox-styled sleeve boxes. There is a pocket in each of the folders containing details of each episode. The discs in the first 4 seasons have a picture of the stars from the series.The special features disc is housed in a separate "classified" folder. Overall an excellent presentation! The series which I watched as a younster is about a brilliant A-class team who are sent in on secret missions to undermine evil organizations, dictators, crime lords and additionally have to rescue hostages or foil corrupt leaders and politicians.The missions and the achievement terms of the mission is always outlined in a self-destruct tape. A brilliant series for its time.

TV series Mission Impossible
Reliving my youth! Best thing, no Tom C! This is about a team that works together, to complete the impossible. Box set is sweet, opens up to reveal 7 VHS shaped containers. Each container is one complete series. Printing on top, shows the lit fuse running across the 7 containers. Each container opens up like a rectangle top hinged flip book. Each page has 2 DVDs per plastic tray. Zavvi price made this a nice deal, to be cherished.
