The Water Horse
The Water Horse is excellent - the kind of thing you can watch over and over, and undoubtedly recommend. It brings a few tears, a bit of knife-edge tension, loads of laughter, and is definitely something that, in this house, will be watched over and over again. The only thing that spoils it is the cover, with its wording that gives the game away. A picture of just the Water Horse's head would have been enough. I saw this on TV, so did not see the cover until I bought a copy, and was glad I had the surprise.

The Water Horse
If you want a charming, happy, yet tear-jerking way to spend some time, look no further than The Water Horse. It's full of surprise twists and turns, and those knife-edge moments that come during childhood, and shows the tensions between different generations. I only saw it recently on TV, and to be able to have it on DVD, is great. I know I will watch it over and over again simply for its storyline and careful, but ideal casting. Yes it made me cry, but both with laughter and with the emotion it engendered. I hope others enjoy it as much as I did.
