Good gameplay, cheesy dialogue
Tales of games do often have a great story and gameplay. This one has a decent story that suffers from cheesy dialogue. Gameplay is good and very fast paced. The armatization mechanic is fun and the arena battles can be tricky especially on the higher difficulties. There's a lot of opportunity for character and equipment customisation but it only comes into its own towards the end of the game and your clear game data. It's really missing something to make slogging through large maps and dungeons better, like a steed, but there is a save point travel system you can use to save a bit of time only this is not free (i think it costs 5% of your current gald) Overall a worthwhile purchase that takes a couple hours to get going.
