Dead Rising 2: Off The Record

If you weren't a fan of Dead Rising 2, but enjoyed the first Dead Rising game, then this is the perfect way for the series to win back your heart. It brings back the hero from the first instalment, Frank West, as the main character.. In addition to the main game there is a new mode called "Sandbox", in which the player can kill endless hordes of zombies whilst earning cash and levelling up, which improves your character in the main story mode. To sum this game up, it is a zombie-massacring theme park of fun! From taking buddy photos with the un-dead to dressing up as a ninja and slicing zombies up with a katana sword, this will keep you entertained for hours on end, and at the price, is a steal.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record

The biggest draw for this title over the recently released 'dead rising 2' was the addition of the new 'sandbox mode'. This is the single inclusion that has been missing since the first title. No time limit, no having to be somewhere or else you fail the whole game, just you, an endless playground full of home made weapons and the zombie masses. Pure bliss. Other than that very little has changed, the 'new story' is just the old story from a slightly different perspective. Frank's camera is a welcome return however and i often found myself trying to get zobies to pose rather than my usual technique of shooting them in the face.
