Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery star in 1986 cult classic HIGHLANDER. He fought his first battle on the Scottish Highlands in 1536. He will fight his greatest battle on the streets of New York city in 1986. His name is Connor MacLeod. He is immortal. After surviving a wound that should have killed him during a clan battle in the Scottish Highlands in 1536, Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) is banished from his village.
Years later, he is met by Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez (Sean Connery), a swordsman who teaches MacLeod the truth about himself, he is immortal; one of a race of many who can only die when the head is cut from the body. He must fight his way through the centuries until the time of The Gathering, when the few immortals who have survived the ages will come together to fight until only one remains. In New York City the final fight is about to begin, and in the end, there can be only one.

Highlander 4k steelbook
Absolutely amazing. 4K picture quality is far better than any blu ray release I've seen. Some people don't like the artwork on the steelbook but I love it. Buy it anywhere other than zavvi and you'll pay at least twice the price. Outstanding release. Highly recommended.

Highlander 4k Steelbook
I’m a big fan of Highlander so to have the opportunity to own a this film on 4k with some really cool new artwork on the Steelbook was an absolute must from myself. So in summary: cool film, cool Steelbook at a great price from Zavvi. You can’t go wrong!

Good Highlander
A very good steelbook only missed five star rating because I think the 4k upgrade could have been better. I still highly recommend this film.

Met all expectations
I was waiting patiently for this title to be transferred to 4K and I was disappointed with the results. Ticks all the boxes visually and the sound is impressive. Some people have complained about the artwork of the steelbook but I rather like it myself - very happy to have this in my collection!

Excellent 4K
My order arrived on time, which is a huge result in itself given my past recentl experiences. I was totally impressed by quality of this 4K steelbook. The picture & sound are both incredible. One of the best 4K's I've purchased over the past year. Some might not like the artwork but that's down to personal preferences. I personally like it. 10/10

Nice steelbook
Can't review the film as I haven't seen it yet, but the steelbook itself has a really nice look and feel to it.

Highlander steel book
This has been a favourite film for a long time. When I saw it was being released in the UHD 4K format I put in an advance order. It didn't disappoint with a decent case ans artwork. The film itself looked and sounded good despite its age.

Ourstanding
The steelbook itself is fantastic with some wonderful artwork from Matt Ferguson, the actual 4k presentation is brilliant and the sound, although it's not Atmos or DTS:X is still great. Highly recommended and we'll worth the money 👍.

Primary language French
I will leave the complaints about which artwork to others. Im more interested in the film. Firstly the good. Image quality has been vastly improved. Comparing this 4k with my 10th anniversary DVD shows massive improvements. Fllm grain is still present (good - i hate to see films reduced to looking like video), although the scenes in Scotland still show excessive grain due to the variable quality film stock used, but it is much better. Colour is also very good as you would expect from an HDR presentation. Audio is fairly good with some subtle use of the rear speakers - nothing over the top. The sound is still a little thin though, but I prefer this to a bombastic remaster with all subtilty lost. Now to the negative. The primary language is set to French. Even selecting English from the startup still gives you French audio unless you go into 'versions' and select the English soundtrack. Also, be advised, all selections are written in French, including the extras ! Thats my biggest gripe, no mention that this is a French disc with English as an afterthought.
