It comes as no surprise that Beyoncé, Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga have been announced as contenders for Album of The Year – whilst there’s no denying their albums were fantastic pieces of pop we can’t help but think it’s all a little predictable! A long shot it might be, but we’d have liked to have seen Lily Allen in the running! Admittedly, her bitter warblings circa 2006 ( the ‘Alight, still…’ days) were slightly irritating but Lily has since binned the gorblimey for witticism and transformed herself from trainer clad teen to quick quip queen – surely this deserves an award?!

Watch the Lily Allen preform single ‘Not Fair’ on Later…with Jools Holland…

Who do you think should be nominated but hasn’t been?…
