Following their Summer Showcase event last night, EA have released a small handful of new screenshots for Battlefield 3: Armored Kill, and they’re embedded below. They focus on the expansion pack’s new Tank Superiority mode, which involves two teams of twelve going head to head (in tanks, naturally) to secure a single objective point. These screenshots all take place on a new map entitled Armored Shield. At the bottom of the page you’ll find a brief clip of last night’s showcase, which features a bit of Armored Shield gameplay footage, and beneath that is the official announce trailer for Armored Kill.
Although Armored Kill can be purchased on its own, you can unlock it two weeks early by picking up Battlefield Premium. To find out more about what Battlefield Premium actually is, you can visit our FAQ page by clicking here.
Battlefield 3 Premium is available now for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Armored Kill is expected to arrive in September 2012.
