EA’s first person shooter Battlefield series continues with the announcement of Battlefield 4! The thirteenth instalment in the franchise over all, BF4 is the eagerly anticipated sequel to 2011’s Battlefield 3. Alongside being released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 as usual, Battlefield 4 is also possibly going to be released on Sony’s and Microsoft’s next generation consoles as well.

Battlefield 4 is expected to include a variety of multiplayer gameplay dynamics merged within the single player campaign. This campaign is also expected to be made of up of huge, open environments, and also promises players use of several vehicles, along with the ability to direct squad mates. Single player campaign now also provides a tracking element to keep tabs on your progress, incorporating a layer of social competitiveness to this mode.
EA has added in a pre-order incentive for Battlefield 4, so that gamers who pre-order will receive a Premium expansion pack at no additional cost.
