Halo 5: Guardians was released on October 27 exclusively for Xbox One and has already set records as the biggest launch for any game in the series, with $400 million in sales during its first week!
However, despite launching with a plethora of multi-player modes, (including the classic slayer mode and new Breakout mode) Halo 5 Guardians was originally without the classic Big Team Battle mode. Big Team Battle is essentially a colossal, wonderfully chaotic version of Slayer mode but with vehicles, and it actually requires a surprising amount of teamwork.
So Halo fans will be glad to hear that a new update to Halo 5 will signal the return of Big Team Battles, where it will sit in the the ‘Arena’ section of Halo 5’s multi-player. Four new maps that have been partially designed by players and are based on classic halo maps ‘Standoff’, ‘Headlong’, ‘Recurve, and ‘ Valhalla’ will also be included in the update.
