This week: the Grey’s Anatomy crew return to DVD, the ever-popular Bourne franchise is resurrected and (of course) the Dark Knight Rises…
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
The Bourne Legacy introduces a brand new hero Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) – an agent on the run from destruction and on a journey to discover the truth, in life-or-death stakes created by events of the first three Bourne Films. Cross and Dr. Shearing (Rachel Weisz) fight to survive as CIA Ops, led by Eric Byer (Edward Norton) attempt to shut down their Operation and make everyone involved disappear for good.
Enjoy all the romance, laughter and heart-stopping moments of one of television’s most celebrated dramas with ABC Studios’ Grey’s Anatomy: The Complete Eighth Season. No matter how hot it gets – in the operating room or in the bedroom – the doctors of Seattle Grace know they can always lean on one another. As fifth year residents, it’s do or die for the doctors, and things get bumpy when the chief makes a decision that rocks the entire staff.

A new comedy series from executive producer and writer Liz Meriwether (No Strings Attached), New Girl features a young ensemble cast that takes a fresh look at modern relationships. Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel) is an offbeat and “adorkable” woman in her late 20s who, after a bad breakup, moves into a loft with three single guys. Goofy, positive, vulnerable and honest to a fault, Jess has faith in people, even when she shouldn’t. Although she’s quirky and somewhat awkward, Jess is comfortable in her own skin. More prone to friendships with women, she’s not used to hanging with the boys – especially at home.

Rowling, Jennifer Garner, comedian Jerry Lewis, Evan Marriott, Sir Ian McKellan, documentarian Michael Moore and Simon Cowell.

In 1991 Becker was hired as lead guitarist in David Lee Roth’s band, the most coveted guitar gig at the time, but Jason never made it on tour. Shortly after recording the album, he was diagnosed with ALS and given five years to live. Archival footage of Jason’s rise to almost-stardom is given the exposure it deserves with this inspiring rock doc. More than 20 years later, Jason is still living strong and making music by communicating with his eyes. A true testament to the strength and possibility of the human spirit.

Villains, gangsters or “Faces” as they prefer to be called, are the men, gang and family members who have made headlines over the past 50 years for all the wrong reasons. Some are household names: the Krays, the Richardsons, Paul Ferris, Frankie Fraser, Arthur Thompson and Vic Dark. Many you will not recognise, but the mere mention of these people has struck fear into individuals and entire communities. Despite their notoriety, the faces of Britain’s most feared criminals remain largely unknown. That is until now.
