Warner Brothers have revealed they are creating a new cross-platform Mortal Kombat game that will be released 2015. The trailer includes staple characters of the series Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Very few details have been released about the game, other than the fairly cryptic blurb:
‘Fueled by next-gen technology, Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with dynamic gameplay to create an unprecedented Kombat experience.’
There had been speculation that the game would be a roaming beat-em-up, though the trailer itself seems to suggest the standard MK format of a one-on-one fighter. You would expect the game to be on Xbox One and 360, PS3 and PS4, and PC.
