Amazing!
Deadpool has been a real labour of love for Ryan Reynolds, unhappy at the cinematic treatment Deadpool was given in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Reynolds backed by a legion of fans lobbied long and hard to get The Merc with a mouth his own movie - their persistence paid off and the result is by far the best Marvel outing we've had to date. Any fan will tell you, this is Deadpool done right, foul mouthed, violent and very funny - it's a joy to watch. Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool and he makes the part all his own, it's obvious just how much he cares about doing Deadpool justice and his performance reflects this. Well supported by Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein and TJ Miller, this is an absolute riot from start to finish. There are also appearances from two X-men, namely Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead who inject yet more humour into proceedings. Reynolds had also included Deadpool's trait of breaking the fourth wall, addressing not only those in the story but the audience too, again this is another Deadpool trait that the fans would have been livid about had it have been omitted. Yes, they've taken some shortcuts in explaining Deadpool's origins and reduced Wade Wilson to a guy who helps teens out for cash but this is budgetary and not deliberate, after all Deadpool was made for a fraction of what a standard Marvel movie would cost! in summary this is an excellent, albeit short and simple introduction to one of Marvel's greatest creations. With a sequel well and truly on the cards Deadpool is set to be a firm Marvel favourite for some time. Who needs the Avengers? .... In Wade we trust

dead brilliant
I love this movie if you fancy watching it then you should buy it irrespective of what some of these so called critics say they really are laughable my review is about the steelbook which i personally like embossed and debossed it is eye catching unfortunately this item has sold out ,i received this 2 days before it,s official release safe and secure excellent service

Perfect
20th Century Fox really has done a solid job on this film with most of the thanks going to Ryan Reynolds himself pushing it and the fans helping to make it happen. Reynolds is the perfect man for the role and delivers incredibly and the story has those classic Deadpool moments you'd expect. Brilliant portrayol and can't wait for the next one. As for the service from Zavvi its once again on point. Pre-ordered and got the film 2 days before retail release. So quick and efficient. and the exclusive steenboks are gorgeous.

Deadpool BluRay Steelbook
Sleek and well designed, the Steelbook features an inset emboss front and back, leaving the logo and lettering raised for a great look, and also coming with a card sleeve unlike most other steelbook now that are just a simple piece of paper on the back, so all the info you need is easy to hand. A fine steelbook, perfect for any collector.

Awesome film - Merc with the mouth on the big screen
Saw this film in cinema. One of the best marvel films yet in my opinion and an excellent interpretation of the "Merc with the mouth". Ryan Reynolds plays it brilliantly. For those like me who are a fan of the comics I'm sure you will agree that this on screen interpretation is excellent. Funny whitty and crude just like deadpool should be with all the violence that comes with him. Great film for fans of the Merc with the mouth or not.

A Game Changer
Deadpool is perfect example of giving the fans what they want. After the aweful appearance in the Xmen Origins Wolverine movie and a thanks to the leaked footage The Merc With A Mouth has been given a second chance and boy what a show it is. Right from the get go it's an absolute riot, the humour, the action and not forgetting the cast are perfect. Let's hope that the huge success leads to other more mature comic book characters get their time to shine. As for the steelbook, it has to be one of my favourites now the look, design and features are spot on and cannot fault this product.
