Grand Canyon Adventure: A River at Risk

Grand Canyon Adventure: A River at Risk is a beautifully-filmed IMAX production that will work as a marvelous home theatre showpiece, whether in 2D or 3D. Most of the supplements offered on Grand Canyon Adventure feel rather promotional and willl not offer much replay value. The “making of” is, however, rather interesting and informative, but is unfortunately only in standard definition.

Grand Canyon Adventure

The Grand Canyon Adventure is OK, The only issue is the Blu-ray is only 35 minutes long.

Grand Canyon Adventure 3D

Watched this through as my first 3D home cinema adventure. It was more a story about the river and the conservation of water, than the Grand Canyon itself. Some of the shots have a great depth of field especially the opening credits written on bubbles that you feel you can touch and nearly come out and hit you but generally the pace and the narration of the film is very laid back, all right, slow! A few of the shots are awesome in their 3D whilst others are not very notable at all.
