Verry funny movie with lots of gore and violence.

Darkly funny piece of British horror

You can't go wrong with this excellent piece of British indie cinema. More of a black comedy than a straight horror film, this movie takes cues from familiar classics and has fun with them in a Northern, UK setting. Surprisingly good effects and a strong vibe cement this one as one of those great films to put on after a few beers with mates. Transfer looks good, nice disc, bargain price, recommended!

Alex Chandon returns with more gore n fun

Alex Chandon (Cradle of Fear) returns with this fun comedy Horror set in Yorkshire Village of Mortlake. Inbred locals attack and terrorize a group of Chav delinquent teenagers on a trip to the countryside. An hilarious mix of 'The League of Gentleman' (Royston Vasey) & 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' Lots of fun and great gore effects - inventive deaths and silly characters. (Paddy from Emmerdale as a stupid butcher with chainsaw. Heads are blown off & chainsawed legs - Insane theatre shows with sewage pumps and horse stamping, And also hilarious yorkshire folk songs 'Eeee Baah Gumm! :) Which had me singing along everytime. Recommended for everyone who loved the films Brain Dead/Shaun of the Dead/Black Sheep etc I look forward to more from Chandon. British Splatter with a genuine sense of humour.
