Gorgeous SB a perfect match to original!
I always loved Zavvi’s original SB for Maleficent so I was happy when they kept the design for the 4K SB. I purchased the 3D Limited Edition and 4K steelbooks for Maleficent 2 and the mostly black SB for the original movie looks so good next to the black and white SB for the sequel. Styling, font and even the spines match each other! I didn’t open the Limited Edition but the slipcover looks really good (although it doesn’t look like leather). I LOVE the finely detailed pattern of her wings delicately added to both the slipcover and Steelbook. I purchased a wide-release used copy of Maleficent 2 3D (w/ slipcover) as my “watching” copy. I pre-ordered the Limited Edition MONTHS and MONTHS ago and was beginning to think they might cancel it but it was worth the wait, and once it shipped it arrived quickly and in PERFECT condition. Thanks Zavvi! If every transaction went so smoothly I would recommend your company as one of my favorites. Let’s hope that this is a new beginning and that you’ll never cancel a pre-ordered Limited Edition Steelbook at the last second with no warning or good reason. When that happens, the SB is LONG sold-out which forces me to purchase from scalpers at TWICE the original price! I didn’t like this film as much as the original but it was still very enjoyable with amazing special effects & GORGEOUS use of HDR. The 4K disc showed incredible detail and STUNNING contrast between dark and light in scenes that took place in the the Moors and the hidden home of the Dark Fae. Colors were rich, deep, bright and vibrant! I especially loved the Jungle Fae who looked like giant parrots with multi-coloured feathers looking much like birds of paradise. The 3D disc was also impressive on my 4K/3D OLED showing impressive depth, multiple layers of detail throughout. The colours were still rich, bright and gorgeous and either the TV or my Blu-ray player did a great job of upscaling the 3D image to nearly 4K quality. Both provide very different viewing experiences so I’m glad to have both in my library. Home run Zavvi!

Gorgeous SB & great movie!
I purchased the 3D Limited Edition with the “leather” like slipcover and the 4K SB from a US Store. Both match the prequels SB perfectly! The original Maleficent 2K SB from Zavvi was always one of my favorite so I am glad the same, world-wide artwork was used for the 4K SB. The original films nearly, all-black SB contrasts nicely, whether prominently displayed or simply sitting on the shelf, with the mostly white (with black highlights) Maleficent 2 4K SB. I haven’t opened the 3D Limited Edition but I LOVE the slip with gold ‘bossing and the fine lines which subtext outline Maleficent’s wings. I ordered this MONTHS ago and was afraid it would never see the light of day, so I am keeping it wrapped. I purchased a pre-owned 3D copy off eBay really cheap w/ a slipcover that serves as my “watching” copy. I enjoyed the first movie more but it was great to find out M’s history and it was fun to watch Michelle Pfeiffer play a villainous role again (looking lovely as ever).

Maleficent Mistress of Evil
A quite lovely steelbook cover one of the best of the year so far! The film was pretty much what I expected it carried on from where the previous film left off but on the whole pretty good lots of special effects.

We honestly loved the sequel more then the original. It's a nice addition to lose the happily ever after. Great condition and good speed on delivery

A very nice Steelbook with excellent art work, you would expect nothing less from Zavvi. The sequel is in general a good follow up to the first film.
