Loved the animation

I played Mortal Kombat X back in the day and was fairly intrigued by the lore of this franchise. So I decided to watch this film and when I did, I can confidently say I was thoroughly impressed! Had me interested from start to finish!!

MORTAL KOMBAT LEGENDS: SCORPION'S REVENGE - LTD ED STEELBOOK

Nice Steelbook at an even nicer price. Great cover art which looks even better presented this way. The film looks & sounds superb. It's action packed but be warned it deserves it's 18 rating. It is exceedingly violent. A Pixar movie it is not! Fans of the games or movies will not be disappointed. I look forward to a sequel. Extras are rubbish. 5 minute puff pieces. Also has a commentary track I believe but I never listen to them. Your average cinema is filled with idiots who talk over the film your trying to watch so why inflict it upon yourself at home?

brilliant animation, sacrilege ending

Anyone reading this review be aware I am a massive mortal Kombat fan and I will try not to spoil the film for those who hhave not seen it The film is based around the murder of scorpions family and clan and his search for revenge in the mortal kombat tournament. We within that also get the story of heroes, cage, sonya and liu kang. The Film is very voilent and the animation in my opinion is brilliant, follows mostly the story of the original game with scorpion extras and a coulle of alteration then one massive alteration at the end which ruins one of the otehr characters and as an MK fan made me go from liking this film to hating it in seconds, so SPOILERS on the last paragraph for those who don't want it spoilt Liu Kang does not beat goro and was on the verge of having his arms ripped off until scorpion saves him and the final is scorpion vs liu kang but scorpion yields so earthrealm wins. what is it with movie makers and source material, stop being sacrilegious with the material.

Amazing!m R-Rated Fun

A great introduction to the mortal kombat mythos. R rated is needed for a genre/story like this. The action comes fast and is brutal as it is beautiful to watch. Hopefully this kickstarts a whole collection of mk stories similar to dc animated moves, it can certainly match them if content is done correctly
