The HD Quality is noticeable as is the sounds, not sure if this because I finally let go of my 8yr old 3D TV or because the ultra HD is a vast improvement on my regular Blu Ray copy. Either way I purchased this on an offer and it was well worth it, the blood, the sweat, the action.

Stellar Remaster, Best Version of the Film

The 3 Star review on this page is wrong. This has been remastered in 4K and looks much better than the disastrous "Ultimate Edition" Blu-ray and moderately better than the competent original Blu-ray. Compared to the original there is a noticeable uptick in detail (although it's limited by the grainy source) and a lack of noticeable compression artifacts thanks to a higher resolution, bit-rate, and an improved compression method. Additionally the range of colour has been improved and there are better specular highlights thanks to HDR-10. This is as good as the film will ever look and is a worthy upgrade to both previous versions. The only disappointment is the lack of a new Dolby Atmos or DTS:X surround track.
