Salem's Lot

I remember watching this as a child and found it propper creepy. I recall that it was shown in two parts and my parents said if I didn't have any nightmares then I could watch the second part. I have watched it several times since and still enjoy it. So when I saw it was available as a Bluray Steelbook I just had to have it. The picture quality is better than the DVD and the colour is great, it's just a shame it is void of any extras.

Top

Excellent stealbook of such iconic movie this movie scared me witless when younger and now at age of 32 to watch it and overcome the fear of that blue vampire was all worth while

King of creepy

A very nice steelbook but could have done with some artcards or a booklet other than that a pretty good buy for one of Steven Kings best .Quality of picture isn't fantastic but not bad for its age and same for the sound but it's just as creepy as ever .Back in the day my pals and me thought this was stunning and this is why i bought it for nostalgia .Definately worth the money give it a go if you dare.

Scratched

Unbelievable! Disc steelbook scratched inside the wrapping. Asked Zavvi for a replacement and they typically completely ignored my instructions! Haha! Red Carpet? My hole!

Salems Lot

This is an absolute classic loved watching this as a kid. This is my first steel book purchase. Sadly I was disappointed case has arrived with slight damage on the front. The film also is 4.3 ratio I understand it is old however this this should be wide-screen at least. It also hasn't had any remastering done to it and doesn't look like a blu ray. No blu ray extras either which is real shame. I was really looking forward to this one but sadly didn't deliver.
