Cracking bond film which needs no introduction… presentation and steel book nicely done. Now where’s the 4K edition?Â

Genius
I happen to think Zavvi have hit the nail on the head with these James Bond Steelbooks. Honouring the traditional opening credit sequences created by the late genius Maurice Binder. A true fan of the James Bond film series will know who this legend is. The opening sequence to each James Bond movie are iconic in their own right. To mark the 60th anniversary of Bond with these steelbook artwork is a fitting tribute

Why no 4k?
It's the 60th Anniversary so why isn't the entire series out in a 4k boxset? Reissuing discs we've had for over a decade really isn't on. Milking fans is only fair to a certain extent. This Dr No steel looks great with it's additional content and if it was 4k I'd buy it but nothing will make me buy the same Bluray I've had since the 50th Anniversary again.

007 Zavvi Steelbooks
I can only give these 3 stars. Unlike some I think the art is fine and I appreciate how uniformed they look but not releasing these in 4k is a no go for me. I buy plenty of classic martial arts films in Blu-Ray format because I realize thats the best I'll probably ever be able to get but Bond not being 4k is pointless since we know one day, probably with the new 007, we'll get 4k releases so I'm willing to wait.
