Best Horror Film in ages
If you are looking for a good horror film out of classic slasher films, V/H/S is your film. This film mixed several horror histories in a new format. It's twisted but great. The picture quality is average, and there's a lack of extras, but it's a highly recommended purchase.

V/H/S Blu-ray
I am so glad to have found V/H/S on Send it as all the usual high street outlets only had DVD or none at all. Although it took a little over a week to arrive I was pleased as the sale price was still cheaper that any of the DVD's found on sale. A fan of the horror genre for 40 years I particularly like the found footage sub-genre and as soon as virals and other media started circulating for this title, I wanted to partake! A mixed bag of mini films of varying quality and by some current big names in the horror field (Ti West etc) and a so so linking story about thieves breaking into a house to purloin a particular VHS tape, coming across a corpse seated opposite a bank of tv sets and VCR's with a plethora of video cassettes, the premise unfolds as the perps view a handful of the tapes and ergo we as viewers watch the shorts. I was always a fan of the Amicus portmanteau films in the 70's and using a similar premise this assembling of shorts succeeds in its endeavours.
