New Warriors Classic Volume 2 TPB
New Warriors Classic Volume 2 Trade paperback contains issues #7-10 of the first volume of New Warriors from the early nineties plus the Kings of Pain crossover event from New Warriors Annual #1; New Mutants Annual #7, Uncanny X-Men Annual #15, and X-Factor Annual #6. I'm a massive Speedball (before they ruined him with the Penance storyline) and Nova fan so New Warriors is a must series for me. Plus with the wonderful Mark Bagley art and great writing from Fabian Nicieza make for a fantastic action packed read. Although this trade only collects 4 issues of the New Warriors series, what a four issues they are! You have Night Thrasher face off against The Punisher while the rest of the team go up against superpowered eco-terrorist in the Amazon, only to return and go up against The White Witch and The Hellions. Then you have the Kings of Pain crossover where the New Warriors team up with the then current X-Men teams to stop A.I.M. from resurrecting the powerful reality-altering mutant Proteus. It's great stuff!
