Miles Prower better known as Tails is the best friend of Sonic the Hedgehog. The character was introduced into the series during the development of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Officially named Miles Prower; a play on words of the measurement of speed (miles per hour) but was changed by SEGA of America who preferred the character name Tails.
