Award-winning director Joe Wright creates a boldly original suspense thriller with Hanna, starring Academy Award-nominee Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones, Atonement) in the title role.

Raised by her father (Eric Bana of Star Trek), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland, Hanna’s upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.

Hanna

Gritty gripping Thriller with superb performance from the young girl who plays Hanna, creepy performance from Cate Blanchet. Engrosing watch, highly recommended

hanna

Hanna is a very strong film. The actress is great and so is the whole film. I watched it from start to finish without moving from my seat!

Surprisingly predictable

Having read several rave reviews I thought it was worth a watch. Sadly disappointed by how predictable most of the story was. No outstanding acting. Some interesting camera work to add to the mood; however this is overdone in parts and some scenes just stretched out a bit much. Altogether pretty average.

Gripping

Really intense and gripping film. It seemed to finish too quickly as I was enjoying it so much. The limited dialogue and slickly cut action scenes make it an emotional thriller. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys action/spy/thriller movies.
