The Colditz Story/The Cruel Sea/The Dambusters

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I enjoyed The Colditz Story/The Cruel Sea/The Dambusters DVD very much and as these 3 films were shot a long time ago (in fact they are in black and white), comparisons could be made with the films shot presently. Comparing the way the cameras are operated together with the limited amount of special effects and the available technology, well, in my humble opinion, it's a great eye opener seeing how much today's films have improved. It's also very nostalgic seeing great actors of that era in action. I recommend everyone to see these type of films and analyse them carefully to fully understand what I am saying. Enjoy!

Classic stories well acted. Well worth watching again as reminders of the horrors of WWII.
