A Chicago librarian suffers from a rare genetic disorder that sends him hurtling through time whenever he is under extreme duress; despite the fact that he vanishes at inordinately frequent and lengthy intervals, he attempts to build a stable future with the beautiful young heiress he loves. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams star in this dramatic fantasy, which is directed by Robert Schwentke (FLIGHTPLAN) and based on the best-selling book by author Audrey Niffenegger.

Time Travellers Wife features a very moving story which was true to the book. It kept me waiting for the next time he traveled and what he would see. Recommend it to anyone. I was in suspense even though I had read the book beforehand. So if you enjoyed the book you won't be disappointed by the film. If you haven't read the book you may need to watch it twice to see what you missed in the background the first time.
Bought as a present and was thoroughly loved
A great movie, with an interesting plot!
Enjoyed this film, different but entertaining.
this film is amazing it includes it all drama, emotion and an over all breath taking expirence.I saw the tralier and the film looked apsalotly amazing and when i brought it and watched it, i went from emotion from emotion. tears when she loses her baby, happy tears when she gets her baby. its a roller coster of emotions. it is a must see film everyone has to watch it its a film that you cant not see its an amazing film and i would recomend it to every age catogry (above 12) as its an overall amazing expirence!
I saw this film at the cinema and have already pre-ordered the dvd. This is a powerful, romantic & emotional movie & I recommend anybody who loves to loose themselves in an excellent drama see this, it's not just a movie for women either as its so well written, guys will enjoy it too. The cast deliver the story to you beautifully and you cant fail but to be touched by it, Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana's chemistry is electric. Im not sure if i did it the wrong way round but I watched the film first and then read the book second and Im sooooo pleased I did it that way around. I have read several reviews from people who read the book first and were disapointed as they do differ. I really enjoyed the film as i had nothing to compare it against. Reading the book after made it even more enjoyble for me as the story was soo much fuller than in the movie. Any film that can generate an emotion of any kind is a good film to me and this inspirers emotion by the bucket load. An incredable film and a must see.
