Classy
This is how you make a movie based on a true story! Excellent performances all around (Joss Ackland in particular). The depiction of life in Happy Valley in 1940 seems a bit overdone at times, but judging by the 'Making Of' documentary on the DVD, apparently life really was like that. Greta Scacchi is absolutely stunning as the femme fatale, Diana, and you can see why two men would fall completely head over heels for her. Overall, a very classy production that cannot to be missed.
