Wonders of the Solar System
When Wonders of the Solar System was first shown on the BBC, I was one of those people unfortunately, who just let this series slip me by. It's the same old attitude you get with these type of TV series; you think it's just the same old stuff... Well Fool me, this series was getting acclaim all over the place, and so was its brilliant presenter, Professor Brian Cox. I just couldn't ignore it any more. When I eventually watched the series on DVD, I was totally overblown with what I was seeing and hearing. Firstly, you have the incredible Brian Cox, whose total enthusiasm, is just pouring out of him. He is very knowledgeable of his subject matter, in a way I have not come across on a British TV screen before. You see Professor Brian Cox travel to the most extreme places on earth, just to show us as viewers, how life must be, on the most extreme planets in the solar system. 25 years ago, a TV series as good as this, could not have possibly been made, such is the advancement in Digital graphics that are used in this series. The only other thing I can say is get this DVD Today.
