If you own a 3DS, get this Super Mario 3D Land game. It is fantastic.
This game is at least in my top 5 of the all 3ds games and everyone who likes Mario and the glorious 3D must buy this game. It has different kinds of stages and the game looks good in 3D!
This is actually the second copy of Super Mario 3D Land that I've purchased. At least there is no arguments between my 2 kids on who plays this. They are probably more qualified to write a review on this, but they are a little young and would rather be playing the game. As a parent I do need to play the odd game to get past the end boss. The graphics seem pretty neat and sounds okay. Also keeps the kids quiet for a while and they really like Mario.
This game blows my mind in so many different ways. Nintendo has succeeded in making another excellent Mario game. This game has a nice retro feeling to it and has even references to other Nintendo titles such as Zelda! If you need to show your 3DS magic to your friends, I suggest you get this title ASAP.
Loved everything about this! I flew through the first 8 worlds, expecting that to be the end, but Nintendo of course wouldn't leave us hanging like that, and now I'm playing through another 8 much harder, more innovative worlds. The music is great, the graphics are fantastic for the handheld, and the replay-ability factor is high. Everything I expected and more. I highly recommend it for anyone who owns a 3DS. You will not be disappointed!
Super Mario 3D Land is a fantastic game. It is such an action packed game with many amazing features that are guaranteed to excite the player. The graphics in this game are very impressive for a handheld system. However, that's what we all expect from Nintendo because they are always determined and want to give their fans a game to remember. The game is full of imagination and adventure. I would recommend this game to anyone who is fond of the Mario series or for anyone who has a happy past of Mario memories. The game also has an extra 8 worlds that are unlocked after you have successfully completed the first 8. There are secrets in almost every world and on world 1 of the secret levels, you even get the chance to save Mario's brother Luigi and play as him throughout remaining worlds (if you want to). The game has many decisions and you can never go wrong with a good dose of Mario and Luigi. With many breath taking features, Super Mario 3D Land really is a game you don't want to be missing out on.
This is one of the best games on the 3DS and it's a great mix of classic Super Mario Brothers and 3D levels. It's a must buy for any 3DS owner!
Just what you'd expect from Nintendo. A Mario game with plenty of references to the original Mario Bros series but with more modern elements taken from Mario Galaxy. Visually, it's almost as good as Galaxy although the levels are not as varied and the overall play time is shorter. The special world levels are sufficiently difficult and the option to play as Luigi adds a further dynamic to the game. The 3D effect is noticeable and effective in parts. Overall a very enjoyable game that could only benefit from being a bit longer.
If you haven't yet bought Super Mario 3D Land I seriously hope you reconsider. I wasn't totally hyped about this game at first but after playing I have found this game to be awesome! I've had way too much fun with it and I'm a bit sad that I have already finished it. If this helps you to decide to buy it I am happy for you because it is well worth it.
My kids have not got off Super Mario 3D Land since they had it. Great price Zavvi, and delivered it quickly!
