Best Price Anywhere!
5This really was the best priced PS3 super slim 500GB console I could find, after a lot of searching! It is a Christmas present for the kids, so is safely wrapped and stowed away until the big day. Very fast delivery and a very good customer experience. Just have to hook it all up on the big day and off we go!

Noisy and less nice than previous models
3Bought this with a bundle (GTA V) and was at first very happy with how small and sleek the design was, it looks really nice. When i started playing though, the first impression was blown away by the sound this little machine makes. Every time the game loads from disc it makes a noise and in GTA V (and many other games) the sound becomes unbearable. Other than the noise it scratches very easily when cleaning it and the lid is very annoying to get dust off. I recommend buying an older version of the Playstation 3 (ive exchanged mine to a regular PS3 Slim 320gb) because its better built, less noisy, easier to clean and works just the same.

excellent
5Having just retired, never had time for games machines before, thought it was time to see what all the fuss was about. A bit apprehensive with regards to setting up but found it so easy, even for an old codger like me. delighted with the blue ray playing and connectivity with the internet etc. Once I master the control pad look out you gamers out there. Excellent.

The right choice.
5Despite the fact that PS4 is launching soon enough, I would take such an offer as soon as possible, and start gaming with my new console! Playstation 3 Slim is already light weighted and and simple, gives you a feeling of easy accessibility and comfort while using, and its 500 GB, which is extremely good enough to handle 95% of your gaming needs for PS3. Price is mind-blowing, I would take it if I haven't bought the PS3 a couple of years ago with a higher price and 75 GB only, it really sets the gamer's hope to a high level. So if you haven't bought it yet , then you should now, this product will be worth every cent you pay.

Amazing Console
5The PS3: New Sony Playstation 3 Slim Console (500 GB) is the best console out there now and I've searched everywhere for the cheapest new console and Zavvi is the place. This console will not let you down as it is smaller and cheaper than the original PS3 slim. I have ordered games from Zavvi before and they have never let me down.

Still plenty of life left in it
5I've only just picked up a PS3, but I'm glad I did as there is still a healthy future ahead for the platform, despite the imminent release of the PS4. Not only does the system have a strong backlog of games, but it also has the PS+ service (bundled with the console deal I got, but also available as a free trial) that gives subscribers access to free games every month. While the new Super Slim model has received criticism over its build quality, I haven't found this to be an issue. The sliding disc tray isn't quite as snazzy as the auto disc feeder in previous models, but it does the job well enough. Otherwise the console looks nice and trim, adding a very functional, yet fairly discreet black box to your media setup.
