Outstanding

Mass Effect 3 is just amazing. I have it on the PC and the Xbox. If you have the 2nd game it will let you do more if you copy your save over, there is plenty of free extras for the online. It's a really good game and I definitely recommend this. I have all of the Mass Effects and they all have a good story to them, especially as you can choose to be good or evil, male or female. It's just in the first game you can't be female, just to warn you. I can't wait for Mass Effect 4.

Best Mass Effect Yet!

5

The Mass Effect games were always meant to be a trilogy and each one has just got better. Mass Effect 3 is best played if you import your character from the previous 2 games, as it retains all the decisions you made, but even if you haven't played the first 2, when you start a new game it asks you what decisions you would have made so you don't miss out on too much. If you're only going to play one Mass Effect game, this is the one to play! As for the game play, it's very similar to the previous games but the graphics are slightly better. However, this is the first Mass Effect that allows you to play the game as either an action game (where gun fights are harder and you don't need to make choices - they'll be cut-scenes instead), a narrative, where you have full control of conversations but the action parts are not as hard, or finally as the original two games were - a RPG. There's quite a lot of DLC and some of it is free, including the Extended Cut which adds extra scenes to the end of the game to show you how your decisions impacted on the universe. The only bad thing about this game is EA Origin. It could be good, but because you always need to be logged in to play, if you have a dodgy internet connection it is an issue.

An Epic

Despite my youngest son's emphatic protest, I bought Mass Effect 3 as a whimsical stocking-filler for myself at Christmas. My son claimed that it had had terrible reviews, and the keyboard controls were totally inadequate; i.e the space bar is used for multiple commands, so there is sometimes a confusion when faced with multiple choices. I get around this by playing in casual mode, so if any keypad mishaps occur, I have time to correct them before fatality ensues. In story mode, the game is rather immersive. As a standalone, it's a pretty good reason to idle-away an afternoon.

spectacular

Worthy conclusion to a great saga. With the extended finals it's a satisfying epilogue. Even better if you have played the entire trilogy on same system, so past decisions still have consequences.

Remarkable!

Mass Effect 3 is a truly remarkable game that is a must have for any fan of the Mass Effect trilogy. Being in control of Commander Shepard in the final fight against the Reapers, teamed with the fantastic new combat system makes this game astonishing!

Review of Mass Effect 3

5

Great Game, not perfect, could have used a bit more in the way of proper side quests like in ME2 rather than the Fly to X Y Z systems and search for artifacts and such. The ending could also have been a bit clearer and had more detail on the final outcome and of what happened to Shephards companions , but with the released DLC to flesh it out a bit more it wasn't to bad even if mostly it wasnt actual cinematics and shown through some still life pictures. All in all though another great game set in the ME Universe 92/100. This ME trilogy is now complete, but may there be many more to come.

Review of Mass Effect 3

A game that doubles on its previous game play mechanics, story is a great element of the game but for me the multiplayer holds the longest and lasting impression; being a fun horde mode with a variety of combat styles and personas.

Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 is definitely this year's best RPG/Action game. It makes you want to go back to play Mass Effects 1 and 2. If you don't have Mass Effect 1 and 2, then go and buy them, now!

A massively effective conclusion

5

A solid conclusion to a great trilogy, heightened greatly by the fact that your Shepard, your crew, and your actions through all three games will now determine the fate of the galaxy.
