I didn't give 5 stars only because we have to buy the last DLC pack to view the true ending, but i find this game better than God of War because i fond Japanese mythology. It has great graphics and story, couldn'r ask for more!

Awesome

If you don't see it like a video game, but you see it as a movie in which you have to make all the combos by pressing buttons in the correct moment, Asura's Wrath is going to be an awesome game for you to play. Really, really amazing.

Cinematic overload

Asura's Wrath is a fun game "if" you're into cut-scenes and QTEs (Quick Time Events). Because "literally" without any exaggerations I can tell you that 80% of the game is just that. You do get to move around and beat "some" enemies into a pulp before you switch to a boss and get an overload of dialogues and flashy looking cut-scenes in each stage/chapter. Personally I enjoyed the game because I simply love these epic looking cut-scenes where in these absurdly looking divine battles take place. And it's nice to play when you're tired and you don't want to game all intensive, you just sit back and occasionally press some buttons. With that said, this game isn't meant for everyone. Because it simply lacks gameplay. There isn't a whole lot to do other then watch the cutscenes and perform the QTEs. Like I said, the fighting you do eventually is just a very small part of the game. So you you should really consider if you're willing to pay for a game that's mostly film/cinematic.

Asura's Wrath

Asura's Wrath is like the anime version of Heavy Rain, with the difference being a cinematic beat-em-up instead of a cinematic adventure game, and the story isn't horrible. If you're a fan of Japanese animation, this game captures the atmosphere accurately. It's full of QTEs, but they're all timed well and mimic the input on your gamepad. You get to fight a Space Buddha that pokes you from space. That line alone is persuasion enough to make you look into this title.

Good games

Asura's Wrath is a very good game, but it's more of an interactive movie than an action game.
