I don't know why a lot of people used to mock new twists to games. This game saves the charm of its predecessor and brings new and unique fun to the game. Worth the money!

Action non-stop

DmC: Devil May Cry is just as good as the previous games in the DMC series. We play as young Dante and without any spoilers - meet other characters from the series. The demons are just amazing and the battles have improved - as you can still fight with a sword or use long-ranged weapons such as Dante's guns. I think all the changes that were made to the game improved him, while the main idea of the game remains. This is an interesting game for the DMC series!

DmC: Devil May Cry is a great game. It's awesome just like the rest of the series. I love the new battle mechanics and the new abilities the weapons you collect give you. I'm a bit disappointed with the graphics in the FMVs as it was the same graphics as resident evil and previously DMC 4 was different, which made it feel more realistic. Overall this has a great story, great battle system but not so great cut scenes.

Excellent game

This game is a really good re-hash of the old with anew twist. The story is pretty cool and easy to follow and the game play is pretty flawless too. If i can get an ss for completing a level then anyone can. I would recommend this to new people to the franchise or the old school, either way you will not be dissapointed.

Awesome!

Dante isn't a subtle guy, and neither is DMC. It's fast, hard and raunchy, so much so that any small inconsistencies are swallowed up by the next fight, new weapon or new ability. It's story seems crafted specifically for me, or at least for a market in which I am the target consumer. It pokes fun at the real-world machinations of bogus news networks, stars a confident, swagger-laden hunk with supernatural abilities, and leaves a wide array of weapons at the player's disposal. Each of these aspects on its own is a reason to get behind a game, but by far the most important one for a Devil May Cry reboot especially is the fighting. DMC does action extraordinarily well and manages to make Dante look like the epitome of cool with every move, and it's wonderful to see this feat in motion. Over and over and over again.

I was initially it worried about this reboot, loved the original games. Thought I would give it ago, glad I did now as new DMC is fantastic! Set in a modern, contemporary, alternate setting gives ninja theory the room to mould this genre into something fresh. Great game-play and graphics! Really recommend this!
