5Before starting this review I may as well say that I was a huge FFX fan, and although I was young it was probably one of the first games that I got on release day, my brother had it for me when I arrived home from school. I was amazed at the difference between FFIX and FFX, it was incredible the advancements going from ps1 to ps2. And now, playing it again so many years later (over the years after getting the game I no doubt dumped 100's of hours into it) I'm hooked right in again. The game needed very little of a HD spitshine to look absolutelty amazing again. i had forgotten just why I love it so much but I can safely say again that this was one of the best games I expect I will ever play. Facial animations are still mostly unchanged, but the world itself is glorious. I'm planning on dumping as much of my time into this game as I can, because it really is just a touch of class. Oh yeah, and FFX-2 is alright as well, great addition considering the price on zavvi is so good!

Same game new platform
5The release contains the excellent FFX and the not so excellent FFX-2 and some additives that us in the EU didn't get. The tower climber add on for X-2 is it's own game in it's own rate and follows tradition dungeon turn based game styling and play style which makes it rather fun to play which is unexpected, as I wasn't expecting much considering the let down of X-2. The main games are everything they were back on the PS2 which is a relief they've just updated the texture and video encoding to HD making the games look even better, as X-2 in particular needed the HD update as it looked rather dated even in comparison to it's older counterpart. FFX however has held up considerably well to the passage of time and the HD spruce up will help it hold up for another few decades. The audio issues where the speech is never quite in synch is still present but unless your anal about that sort of thing it's negligible. All told both games with addons prove themselves to be vastly worth the money for a trip down memory lane or to just simply enjoy them as they are, which is something I'm doing and simply ignoring the acheivements as I bought the games for the games and wasn't dissapointed. The added bonus of the art book with the limtied edition whilst small is a brilliant add on showing concept art that I have never seen before and serves well as reference material for my own artwork. There is just one thing of note if you bought it not just for the collectivity but also to use and play be forewarned that the box isn't the easiest to open. My review score 10/10

Revival of a classic
5Been ages since I played this game and Square enix have done us proud with this HD remaster. Everything I remember is now a lot better the new clarity of the graphics. the released content has made the game much more playable and loveable. An awesome remastered game for any fan of the final fantasy series and gamer out there.

Great Game/s, great service!
5The HD remakes of these classic titles for any FF fan, if you missed them first time round then get them now, no excuses! These games come from an era where the story was just as important as the graphics and FFX/X-2 delivers on both fronts. Soundtrack to die for again thanks in part to Nobuo Uematsu being onboard once more. Miss this at your peril!

Excellent
5This game is one of the best final fantasys that have ever been made. Square enix have done a wonderful job remaking this game. If you played the original then you'll love playing it again in HD. This is still a great game after 11 years.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD
5Nostalgia is a powerful tool. Square Enix knows this, and fortunately have decided to re-release both of these games in HD for the world to enjoy again. What we have here are the definitive international versions off both Final Fantasy X and X-2, complete with an art book in the limited edition. 2 great games for 1 great price. What more could you want?

Final Fantasy 10HD
4Final Fantasy 10 is an old favourite back from when I regularly played games. When I saw there was a HD remake, I instantly pre-ordered with Zavvi as it is one of the best games I've ever played. The game arrived a day after release the date, which I didn't mind, but I didn't receive an extra 10% off which was advertised when I purchased the game, with a trigger code discount at the checkout. But it was still extremely great value for money, so I didn't complain about it. If you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series, or played 10 back when it was originally released, this game is an excellent version that doesn't fail to deliver.

5Excellent game, It has to be my best game in the world. The only bad thing is that the delivery sucks when I pre ordered it last year!!!!! And it came on the next day of release day.

An old favorite revisited
4I bought this being quite a fan of the original game. A charming story that will sweep you away into a whimsical world. battle monsters, summon your own to help you fight and dive into an adventure in Spira. This also includes the sequel game X-2, a fun little "charlies Angels" style adventure featuring the girls from FFX. I loved both of these games firt time round and to have a new updated version, with HD visuals and all new music is great. it's still the PS2 version though, in new clothes, the character movements are still the same and sometimes it shows. Close-ups of the characters faces can be a little scary, something about thier eyes is just a bit ...well...off! but other than that, this is a fun revisiting of my favourite adventure. there's also some added content on here, a new side-scrolling mission for X-2 and a short "movie" for X. The art book is stunning and has some notations as to where influences came from for the locales in the games, a very interesting little book! all in all, I love this purchase!
