Best Ninja Gaiden title

4

Even though NG3 is a sequel to NG2, it is meant to be a new game and sort of like a reboot and making the game up-to-date and the best Action title of 2012. did Team NINJA nail it? sure did. This is the best NG title to date and many of you and I all have our favourites, mine is Ninja Gaiden /Sigma but NG3 is the best. You get to experience Ryu Hayabusa as a human being instead of a killing machine, you get to see him unmasked occasionally. One of the interesting thing about NG3 is the refined gameplay, they've dropped all the Game-y elements that makes any game play like a game. Basically many things NG did in the past are gone such as, collecting karma, leveling up, upgrading, visiting Murasama's shop and weapons. Basically it is about Ryu and just the Dragon Sword. They did a good thing with this refinement and then again they achieved nothing because there is no motivation to keep playing the game as you can't do anything in any level except to kill. You just go from one point to the end killing enemies and bosses which can be boring. However the experience is like no other, you jump from high building, destroying helicopters, jumping off helicopter, climbing on walls and ropes as if you are mimicking Ryu's movements, stealth killing enemies. This game is ridiculous and insane! NG3 makes Ryu badass as he is, in fact all the stuff he did makes him too badass. Sadly this is the first title from Team NINJA that has no unlocks or anything. The only unlock you get are from playing Shadows of the World multiplayer or Ninja co-op trials, yet there is no sense of achievement for unlocking. Where is the accomplishment reward for beating Master Ninja mode? And as for the difficulty, hard as it is also including new Hero mode that makes it easier for newcomers to get into Ninja Gaiden without stressing with the difficultly. Ninja Gaiden 3 is an amazing game with boring and nothing to do experience during storymode, packed with insanely addictive fun multiplayer and co-op. This is looking like the best Action title experience for 2012 so far.

Worth What I Paid for

I'm a Ninja Gaiden fan and was highly anticipating the arrival of this game. I got to say, although the game reviews out there are not great, I'm still one happy, satisfied player. Fights and gameplay are slighty different from the previous two series, which is not surprising given that a new team has been working on this. However, the essence is not lost as Ryu still retains his flexibility and excellent sword fighting techniques. You won't regret buying this game, whether you are a fan or not.
