Star Ocean: The Last Hope - International is a good game! take it while it's hot!
I think Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a great game. I have been playing for around 80 hours and I liked very much. The battle system is a little difficult at first, but you get use to it after a few goes. A good story with a lot of Kinematics.
I've never seen worse characters or writing in any game and this is even with a certain amount of distance imparted by the Japanese audio. With English audio it's actually torturous to listen to. The worst part is the combat system is actually really good.
I recommend buying this game. It will take around 40 hours to beat, but then there is post-game content to do, and achievements to unlock. If you're a completion-ist, then you will enjoy trying to get all the trophies that this game has to offer. Also, there are several difficulty modes for those looking for a harder play though. If you are looking for an RPG close to the Final Fantasy series, but with a different battle system (real time) then I think you would enjoy this game.
