Inspired
5The Last of Us takes quite a bleak approach to storytelling and touches on the more complex issues of hopelessness and the fear of abandonment. It centers around main protagonists; Joel and Ellie who both journey across several locations in Central America in a world that's been devastated by a fungal virus mutation known as Cordyceps. The visuals and locations in this game are nothing short of spectacular; combat has been refined to appear seamless, enemies react to your situation and when you run out of ammo, enemies sense this and rush you. Enemies will also try flank you if you are exposed. The star of the show is certainly the evolving relationship between Joel and Ellie. Banter between the two is natural and a pleasure to watch unfold, you can expect to see every emotion on their long journey. Overall, this is a must play for any gamer, it crosses genres so well that I can fully expect an RPG hardcore or a FPS veteran to get something from this. Stunning visuals. Fantastic story and characters. Solid combat. What's not to like?

Worth the wait
5The Last of Us is by far the best game ever to release in 2013. If you own a PS3, don't wait any longer, you need to have this game added to your library. It is that good. A compelling storyline, excellent use of stealth and gun elements and a few scares here and there to get you hiding behind your pillow. Naughty Dog has hit a home run with this game and they can sit comfortably on their throne knowing this will be nominated for Game of The Year

5The Last of Us is far the best game by this generation of console, a really great story told with excellent voice acting and amazingly detailed graphics. Just brilliant.

PS3 Must Have!
5Without a doubt, The Last of Us is one of the best PS3 games I have played. The gameplay and cut scene graphics are both incredible and showcase exactly what the PS3 can do! With regards to the gameplay itself, it is a personal preference as to whether you go in guns blazing (risky) or adopt an all out stealth approach (recommended), but the story line for this game is brilliant and even with regards to collecting supplies the game stays true to an end of the world scenario. All in all, a must have for any PS3 owner and definitely deserving of the high ratings given by critics. Well done again Naughty Dog!

One of the best games ever
5The Last of Us is an extremely emotional game with lots of twists and turns. It will keep you on your feet with its amazing game play and is strong enough to make a man cry!

Brilliant
5I have found The Last of Us brilliant to play so far. It has amazing graphics and I am impressed with the game play as well as the cut scenes/story. You can either go stealth on missions (which is best on some) or you can go guns blazing if you want to risk it.I can't wait to continue playing this game and see how it turns out. I would definitely recommend this game, so if you have the spare money, go ahead and buy it!

4The Last of Us has a good story, if a bit slow at times. I'm not exactly rushing home from work to play it, but it's still worth buying.

Simply Amazing
5The Last of Us is probably the best game I have played on the PS3. It's the most like playing a film than any other game I have played. The characters and dialogue are great, there's not one 'roll your eyes' moment. Every frame looks stunning and the game play is smooth and intuitive. I couldn't recommend this game more. You will laugh, cry and won't regret it.

5The story in The Last of Us is very good, even though it's a generic zombie one. This game pushes the final drops from the PS3 and it does this with ease. I did notice when there is a lot of action going on, it goes slightly cartoon-y to help stop any lag/slow movement. The on-line at first was a bit iffy and I didn't really think that I would use it that much, but as you unlock weapons, like the bow, flame-thrower, etc. it started getting fun.

5The Last of Us is one of those games that when you start you can't stop, and a 20 hour campaign means nothing gets done in your home. This is a well put together game that never drags on the story. It comes together well.
